• To enjoy time around the campfire
• To hear Sheriff Mack speak

About 75 men, women and children gathered for a celebration of freedom in August 2009 at the Lyon Canyon Ranch near Lander. Everyone appeared to have a great weekend.

The Soapbox Hero contest was a highlight of the 2009 Wyoming Liberty Fest. Three minute speeches by the ten contestants in the Soapbox Hero contest, as well as five minute speeches of the three finalists, can be found at the Wyoming Liberty Fest youtube channel which can be seen here.
